Our Leadership Course for Adults provides the essential knowledge and understanding of leadership that you need for leading - whether you are new to leadership, or need to motivate your team, to drive change or to give strategic direction. We give some leadership examples for you to follow. There is a leadership ppt available to illustrate our techniques.
You can access the leadership course in your own time and put what you learn into practice immediately. This is 24/7 online leadership training. We'll give you a practical toolkit, a process and techniques to help you quickly select and apply the right leadership style for the team, task and situation and to enhance your leadership skill development especially leadership communication skills.
Helmsmanship is designed for everyone - if you are already in a leadership role, or have just been appointed or promoted to lead and are in need of leadership development or leadership training. You do not need any previous qualification nor do you need to know any leadership definitions at this stage. The courses offer easy sequential learning in steps that rapidly allow you to learn how to lead. Ideal for:

The Helmsmanship Leadership Course for Adults is available in units, suitable for inclusion in National/Scottish Vocational Qualifications (N/SVQ)and Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQ).
Each unit maps to the relevant Management and Leadership National Occupational Standards developed by the UK Management Standards Centre: B5, B6, B7, C4, D1, D2, D7, D8, and is graded to a QCF Level. The basic adult Helmsmanship course is level 5 leadership.
