Helmsmanship© Adult Leadership Course
The Helmsmanship Adult Leadership Course is available in 4 units, graded Levels 5 to 8 of the QCF (Qualifications and Credit Framework).
Helmsmanship, like all leadership development courses, is best learned progressively, unit by unit, as shown below.
We strongly recommend that you start with Basic Helmsmanship, the first unit. This unit can also be used as a revision aid or to correct bad leadership habits.

Basic Helmsmanship will help you prepare for leadership. For instance, it might be your first appointment to a ‘management’ post or you are part of a team and you are put in charge of other team members for the first time, because of your expertise, skill, experience or knowledge.
|
|
Motivational Helmsmanship builds on Basic Helmsmanship and will help you if you are already in a ‘management/leadership’ post or part of a team, and you wish to learn how to obtain more from your team by motivating them ‘to go the extra mile’.
This is essential executive leadership training. Research shows that leadership at this level of Helmsmanship contributes to the bottom-line. Moreover, people who perform successfully at this level are able to learn better too.
