Helmsmanship Young Leadership is designed to help younger people of school age to
acquire skills that are needed for adult situations when it's ‘your turn to
lead’.
These confidence-building helpful skills are:
- Young Helmsmanship ‘Giving
Directions’ (communication skills)
- Young Helmsmanship ‘What Has To Be Done’
(which adds planning to communication skills)
- Young Helmsmanship ‘Young
Entrepreneurs’ (which adds thinking and finding solutions for the future to the
other skills)
- Young Helmsmanship 'Supervised Leadership' - for young people undertaking an apprenticeship, or in a very senior position at school, or an undergraduate or cadet or equivalent - designed to give you an understanding of future leadership.
